The Ministry Joint Building, located on the edge of the Uue-Maailm district (colloquially known as the “Superministry”), is one of the most talked-about public buildings in Tallinn city centre. Today, the building houses the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Digital Affairs, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications, the Ministry of Social Affairs, the Ministry of Climate, and the Ministry of Regional and Rural Affairs.
Opened in August 2017 on one of Tallinn’s representative streets, the complex aims to provide a modern, functionally well-planned, and energy-efficient working environment within a solid and high-quality architectural form. The Ministry Joint Building is the first entirely new government building constructed in Estonia since regaining independence.
