In September 2019, the international Kai Art Center opened its doors in the former submarine factory complex. In the former Ship Systems Workshop – a 100-year-old heritage-protected building – workspaces are provided for at least five Estonian art organizations. State-of-the-art exhibition spaces and a hundred-seat auditorium are opened, and an international residency program begins. In addition, various food studios and a restaurant are opened on the first floor of the building.
