Address:Nunne 14, Tallinn
Nunne Hotel – a building amidst eight centuries of history.
Nunne Hotel is situated in Tallinn’s Old Town, whose origins trace back 800 years. The hotel is traversed by the medieval and sturdy limestone Tallinn city wall, built by the renowned German merchants who once ruled the famous Hanseatic city. While walking through the building, you can see the city wall along with its former arrow slit positions, reminiscent of a time when the defensive wall was impenetrable, and Old Town was well-protected.
The hotel’s windows offer marvelous views of Tallinn’s Old Town – on the Suur-Kloostri street side, the medieval Nunna Tower rises directly adjacent to the hotel, and next to it is the 19th-century Kloostrivärav (Convent Gate) that leads through the city wall.
Staying at Nunne Hotel allows you to feel and see the long history of Tallinn, and stepping out onto the street, you can stroll through one of the best-preserved medieval Hanseatic cities. The carefully furnished and meticulously designed 74 rooms in the hotel feature mainly local producers’ furnishings and art, ranging from classic hotel rooms to luxurious suites. Nunne Hotel, along with Tallinn’s stories, awaits!
Sustainable Solutions (Building Futures Together):
The majority of the hotel’s interior furnishings are produced in Estonia and are of very high quality. Thanks to this, there has been no need to transport goods from a distance, reducing the environmental impact associated with the hotel’s construction, and the high-quality furniture does not need to be replaced again in a few years.
The tour does not require registration, participation is based on a first-come, first-served basis.
